Our Legacy - Radiant Flux

Our Legacy’s strict adherence to a chosen thematic approach has led them to create some of the most interesting, confident and successful collections of recent years.

The Swedish brand have an effortless ability to take an idea and run with it, reinventing  staple designs season after season in line with a new theme and creating fresh ideas that never feel forced.

For Spring/Summer 2014, Our Legacy have drawn inspiration from the process of Radiant Flux, a method used to measure electromagnetic radiation which has inspired a collection obsessed with the intricacies of photographic development.

Focusing on exposure and the ethereal impact levels of light can have on an image, they have experimented with materials, from the composition of the fabric itself to the effect dying and washing can have on a garments final aesthetic.

Some of the collections most impressive results have been the result of them taking this approach to the Nth degree, be it washing an indigo dyed garment to within an inch of its life or utilising fabrics such as linen and polyurethane in completely alien environments.

As with every OL collection which has come before it, each piece from Radiant Flux is designed with a unique attitude towards silhouettes, ranging from clean cut shirting to anti-fit sweats.

A genuine highlight of Spring/Summer 2014, Radiant Flux is, without a doubt, up there with some of the best work Our Legacy have ever produced.
